What I did on my summer vacation
It may be summer but the Wilmot High School Marching band is still hard at work. They performed during the annual Libertyfest parade held July 4 weekend in Twin Lakes.


Calvary cookout is Saturday at Sentry
Calvary Church, 1511 Wilmot Avenue, Twin Lakes, will be sponsoring its Calvary Cookout on Saturday, Sept. 4, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Sentry Foods parking lot, 600 N. Lake Avenue, Twin Lakes.

Tonight 'Field of Dreams' to be presented at West Side Park
The Village of Twin Lakes has three more movies lined up for this season. Tonight, Friday, Sept. 3, "Field of Dreams" will be shown at West Side Park. Bring your own chairs, blankets, bug repellent, jackets. Some concessions will be sold. This is a free event sponsored by the Village.

Hope Lutheran Church joins Angel Food Ministries
Hope Lutheran Church, 876 Lance Drive, Twin Lakes, has joined Angel Food Ministries, as an outreach program for area residents.

The Rev. Jack Fish said Monday he had heard about the program through a friend in Illinois. Church member Kay Cooke is coordinating the program.
